Island Chevrolet Cadillac was proud to be one of the sponsors at the Stanhope Equestrian Challenge & Gingerwood Charity Classic annual horse shows held July 26-August 1, 2010. These events are held in support of the Oak Acres Children's Camp.
Oak Acres is a registered charity and operates six camping sessions each summer for children who are selected to attend by the Province's Guidance Counselors. Nearly 500 Prince Edward Island children enjoy this experience every year at absolutely no cost to them. Oak Acres Children's Camp...........giving kids a leg up for life!

Island Chevrolet Cadillac is one of the Sponsors at the Northumberland Fisheries Festival 2010 being held in Murray River, PEI. This festival is a major fund raising event in support of the Northumberland Arena and Minor Hockey. Fun for the entire family: Lobster Suppers, Provincial Dory Rowing Championships, Celebrity Cook like a Chef Competitions, Seafood demonstrations and samplings. Kids take part in all kinds of crafts and events, as well, are able to register for Minor Hockey.

 2010 PEI Easter Seals
The 2010 PEI Easter Seals Chairperson is Paul Mifsud, owner/operator of Island Chevrolet Cadillac in Charlottetown. The 2010 PEI Easter Seals Ambassador is twelve-year-old Colton Matheson, a grade six student at Montague Consolidated School. Paul’s enthusiasm and commitment to his community, along with Colton’s winning personality and motto “Feel the Joy” went a long way in making the 2010 Campaign a huge success.
The PEI Easter Seals Society is dedicated to fully enhancing the quality of life, self esteem and self determination of Islanders with disabilities.The funds raised during Prince Edward Island's Easter Seals campaigns stay on the Island and are used to support programs helping the disabled throughout our Province.

The Chevrolet Safe and Fun Hockey Jamboree was held recently at
MacLauchlan Arena in Charlottetown. Lacing up skates for young players
Owen Griffin, Scott Crowell and Maggie Mullins, are Andrew Hall, second
right, president of the Charlottetown Minor Hockey Association, and Paul
Mifsud, right, owner of Island Chevrolet Cadillac. The jamboree, for players
ages five to eight, was designed to “promote safety and fun and bring back
respect, responsibility and trust to hockey.”

At the 7th hole of this prestigious golf course, participants in the tournament had a chance to win a brand new 2009 Chevy Malibu LT (North American Car of the Year). Island Chevrolet Cadillac sales professional , Kevin Compton also participated in this event and host's Thursday night men's night at Belfast Highland Greens golf course on behalf of Island Chevrolet Cadillac.

 2008/2009 Chevrolet Safe and Fun Hockey Jamboree In total over 200 children from the Charlottetown, Stratford, Pownal areas from ages 5-8 attended this event. All were given a free hockey jersey and learned about respect, and fair team play at the event.
